Club 100 Lightweight Championships
29th May Clay Pigeon, Dorset
Weather – Dry and Cold
Qualified 16th with a lap time of 41.425 secs
Pre B Final – Started 11th and finished 5th with a lap time of 41.425 secs
A Final – started 24th and finished 14th with a lap time of 40.788 secs
The Race
Daniels first time at the Clay Pigeon track.
The qualifying session went well finishing 16th, just missing out on the A Final.
The top 4 of the B final got promoted to the A Final, Daniel raced brilliantly to get to 5th place thinking he had just missed out on the A Final.
But the 4th placed driver got a penalty which pushed Daniel in 4th place promoting him into the A Final.
Daniel started the A Final at the back in 24th place but done some of his best racing this year to make up 10 places to finish 14th.
Again brilliant performance keeping him in 8th place for the championship.

15th May Bayford Meadows
Weather – Dry
Qualified 14th with a lap time of 54.892 secs
Pre B Final – Started 8th and finished 8th with a lap time of 54.377 secs
B Final – Started 2nd and finished 2nd with a lap time of 54.416 secs
A Final – Started 26th and finished 20th with a lap time of 54.859 secs
The Race
Daniels first visit to Bayford Meadows and managed to qualify 14th and just missing out on the A Final.
Daniel had to get in the top 4 in the B Final to get promoted to the A Final. He got of to a great start going straight to 2nd place and then pushing for 1st. Daniel managed to hold his position to finish 2nd with a lap time of 54.416 seconds, and at the same time qualify for the A Final.
He started at the back in 26th place and finished the race in 20th.
This was a very difficult race track as there are not many places to overtake but again Daniel done well to get promoted in B Final to get him good championship points to keep him in 8th place and improving all the time.

10th April Whilton Mill
Weather – Dry and Sunny
Qualified 9th with a lap time of 55.260 secs
Pre A Final – Started 18th and finished 17th with a lap time of 55.380 secs
A final – Started 16th and finished 12th with a lap time of 54.729 secs
The Race
Daniels first trip to Whilton Mill and he didn’t take long to get used to the tricky track and he raced very well to get into the A group of drivers.
The Pre A final went well but the driver in front was holding everyone up and Daniel was lucky to stop the other drivers taking his place and at the same time managing to make up one place to finish 17th.
The A final Daniel had a great start from 16th on the grid to go straight into 14th. With only 3 laps to go Daniel got up to 12th but in front was the same driver who was in front in the Pre A final and was holding a good line preventing Daniel moving up a place.
Overall a great days racing on a track which suited Daniel, and at the same time moved up 5 places in the championship table to 8th place.

27th March Teeside
Weather – Dry and Sunny
Qualified 18th with a lap time of 49.987 secs
Pre A Final – Started 16th and finished 19th with a fastest lap time of 50.040
The Race
Daniels first trip to Teeside and with only 3 laps practice does very well to qualify 18th putting him in the Pre A Final , it went very well making no mistakes to finish 16th.
The A Final Daniel started 16th and got of to a good start but after 3 laps you could see the kart was not performing. Losing 5 places Daniel worked hard to hold on to 21st place and got close to the pack of drivers gaining 2 places to finish 19th.
Overall a bit disappointing in the final but with the kart he done very well to make the A Final.
It was a good experience at this fast track.
Club 100 Lightweight Championships
27th February Club Buckmore Park
Weather – Dry and Cold (48 drivers)
Qualified 8th with a lap time of 46.663 secs
Pre A Final - Started 11th and finished 13th with a fastest lap time of 47.048 secs
A Final – Started 13th and finished 10th with a fastest lap time of 46.582 secs
The Race
Daniels first race of the season, and qualified well with a lap time of 46.663 seconds.
The Pre A Final went well Daniel got up to 10th just lost out on 3 places to finish 13th.
The final Daniel went back to 16th but raced well to gain 6 places to finish 10th with his best lap time of the day 46.582 seconds.
Overall a good days racing considering Daniel has only raced at Buckmore Park twice and only the 2nd time he has raced in a TKM Kart.
A good start to the championship with good points scored.
